5 /5 Tim Smith: First time here and we loved it! Offered the choice of lunch by the fire or in the restaurant. Such a crap weather day so chose fire. Wine and food was top notch, and the service from Barry was impeccable - which is why Im writing this review. Thanks for an amazing food experience

5 /5 F M “MrBoat”: Cracking little Manor style pub. Lovely interior. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced for the area and proper encased in pastry pies. Only downside was the gravy, the flavour was there but not the viscosity. Southern chefs seem to be afraid of thickening. Will definitely return when back in the area.

5 /5 Mark Fell: Very convenient location, next to a Premier Inn, minutes away from Gatwick Airport. Good selection of food with some Sunday changes, for roast dinner etc. Good idea to download the app for booking table as it can get busy. App has the usual order/pay on line, for food and drink, as you please. Jo served us ( without the app) and was excellent. Good knowledge of the food and drink, and offers in the app. Will no doubt visit again if we need to use the Premier Inn. Not exactly a local pub for me.

5 /5 David Khan: I recently stayed at the Premier Inn next door and ate here with my wife and kids. We were served by Dimi who was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered burgers, chips and onion rings with a bottle of wine and soft drinks. We sat by the open fire, it was a nice and cosy setting. Highly recommend giving it the place a try if youre staying in the area.

5 /5 James Ebsworth: A true British pub. The rump steak sandwich was perfect. The pub has lots of character. The staff are very friendly. Lovely place to come and relax. Loads of parking. 10/10 they have a kids menu too so its brilliant for families
