5 /5 Graham Parker: This is such a fantastic place for really authentic dim sum. Bustling with people all the time, you normally have to wait for a table for a bit, but that is half of the experience. You order from a huge and diverse menu of loads of dim sum options, and there is also a seasonal dim sum and Chefs Specials which I recommend strongly. It is where you see real creativity from the kitchen. The food comes out as it is ready and you share everything, which makes it a very social eating experience. Be sure you order tea as well.

4 /5 Patrick N.: My first visit was perhaps six or seven years ago and I remember the food being pretty decent. We came more recently on New Year’s Eve and were quite pleased by the quality of the food. Although my mom felt that the char siu marinade didn’t taste quite right—or to her liking—everything was good. My favourite item that we ordered were the Peking style spare ribs. There could’ve been more meat on the bones and the meat could’ve been tenderer, but the sauce was bursting with flavour. I would come back again. I’d also like to mention a young woman on her break at the adjacent table who put in an extra order of rice for us when we weren’t able to flag down our server. She wasn’t obligated to do this, as she was having her lunch, but I appreciated her helpfulness.

5 /5 Frankie Loh: Staff were nice. Authentic Hong Kong Cantonese dim sum and tea, the food quality like taste and temperature was as great as reputable dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong. Pricing is reasonable (in London area). There is another one in Chinatown, Central London.

4 /5 Patrick Ng: The roasted meat came out sliced and glossy, and I still remember how good it smelled before anyone even touched it. The skin had that slight crispness, the meat inside juicy and full of flavour. It felt familiar, like something I’d eaten many times before but was still happy to see again.

5 /5 Sophia Yu: Absolutely the best Cantonese food I’ve had in North London! Came to Golden Dragon in Colindale on a cold, windy evening and their new Cantonese goose dishes instantly hit the spot. The Braised Guangdong Goose tasted exactly like home—fragrant skin, tender meat, and that deep slow-cooked flavour that’s nostalgic and comforting. The Teochew Marinated Goose Slices were clean, smooth and perfectly seasoned, while the Crispy Roast Goose was light, crackling and not greasy at all. Great dim sum, soups, and friendly service too. A true Cantonese gem in London—100% worth the trip!
