2 /5 Isabelle HART: Worst sauce I have ever tasted. I grow my own herbs I love mint and I love lamb but not this version. The “mint”sauce ruined beautifully cooked tender lamb. It smelled of soap and tasted like it too.this was a special anniversary meal with lovely Chateauneuf du Pape wine so this was sad especially as chef went to the trouble of nice touch of little sweet treats at the end of our meal.

5 /5 N11: Wow the food is very good here the starters and mains were not only delicious but I was blown away by the presentation it was something from a high end diner in London . The meal was reasonably priced combined with excellent service and a beautiful location.

1 /5 Taz: My steak took 45 minutes to come and came out cold, my Mrs food came out wrong twice and about 20 minutes after I got my food. The service was amazing just the kitchen let them down massively £73 later all we ended up with is wrong food for my Mrs and a cold not filling steak

Damo From DDJ When here for a Valentines Day meal. The staff were excellent and the food was amazing. Very attentive to the customer indeed. You can see all the way into the kitchen and the professionalism from the chefs was inspiring to witness. A busy service expertly executed by all involved! Tasty food, wonderful atmosphere and staff are top notch!

James F We had a Birthday party with 31 guests at the George in February. Dell Morgan, Isobel and all the team on the day were amazing. They were extremely accommodating to all our needs. We had a fantastic lunch which went perfectly smoothly. The food was excellent the service very smooth the whole team very friendly. It was impeccable from start to finish. We would highly recommend the George to anyone. 5 stars

Jack Avery A superb spot overlooking one of the best sandy beaches on the island. The food was exceptional- couldn’t fault it. The service was also great. There is a large pay & display car park a short walk away from the restaurant.
