5 /5 Zoe Daniel: Brilliant pub - lovely staff and the atmosphere was really welcoming. We had dogs and children and they were so helpful with everything without us having to ask. We had lunch and all loved the food. (the duck chips were really tasty) Would definitely go again!

5 /5 Richard Clark: We stayed overnight with friends and would thoroughly recommend this pub to anyone. Very friendly and attentive service, especially appreciated as one of our friends has limited mobility. Very good food, we had breakfast lunch and dinner. There were also very well kept cask beers from Hook Norton Brewery. The rooms we booked were comfortable, spacious and very clean. Dog friendly as well.

5 /5 zac marsden: Popped in today with kids and grand parents after a walk. Lovely looking pub with a friendly welcome and hook Norton beers on the cask taps. Had an excellent pint of their stout which was well kept and delicious. We also all ordered food, every dish was beautiful and even the kids finished their food. A truly exceptional pub.

5 /5 Jason Harbottle: Ive been here several times over the years. Food and service are always great. The duck chips were a first for me and were delicious! As were the Katsu chips starter and the pie I had for that matter. A good pub for the family too, its situated between the canal and rail line, something you can explore with the kids safely without going more than a few meters from the pub entrance. It was dark when we went this time and my little boy loved seeing the trains go past quickly, all lit up. And it was a great way to keep the kids entertained between courses!
