5 /5 Chonsie G: Tucked away from the usual tourist hotspots located in South London Walworth Road, La Luna is one of those places you only hear about if you know where to look—and trust me, it’s worth discovering. We visited on a Sunday, which was quieter than usual, but the warm ambiance and attentive service made it a perfect dining experience.
We started with the Traditional Bruschetta, a simple yet flavorful classic that set the tone for the meal. For mains, my partner had the Linguine alle Vongole, a beautifully balanced dish with fresh clams, olive oil, garlic, chili, and white wine. I opted for the Gamberoni al Aglio—six succulent king prawns cooked in a fragrant garlic, lemon, chili, and white wine sauce, served with pasta. Every bite was bursting with fresh, bold flavors, proving that La Luna prioritises quality ingredients and authentic preparation.
The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. It’s clear that everything is made fresh to order, which makes all the difference. I haven’t tried their pizza yet, but after this experience, I’ll definitely be back to do so.
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that delivers on taste and quality, La Luna is a must-visit. Highly recommended! deliziosa!!
