The food tasted fresh and not oily like some other Asian takeaways. Delivery came in good time and well packaged. We will definitely order again and probably try some different dishes to explore the verity Mama has to offer. Thanks Mama!

5 /5 Delise: Mama Wok is hands down the best Chinese in this universe. Once you’ve eaten here, it honestly ruins you for every other Chinese takeaway or restaurant. Whenever I’m not in the area and I even think about trying somewhere else, it’s pointless. Nothing compares. Everything else pales in comparison. It’s not even close. Every other Chinese spot feels like a complete joke after you’ve eaten here. My go-to order is simple but undefeated: • Special Fried Rice • Sweet and Sour Chicken • Mama Chicken Wings The Special Fried Rice is in a league of its own. Cooked to absolute perfection, soft yet firm, with just the right bite. It has this delicate balance where the grains are slightly sticky, holding enough texture to soak up flavour, but still loose and airy so it never clumps. The mix of chicken, beef, prawns, and egg folded through the rice gives it layers of flavour in every bite. It’s the kind of dish that sounds simple on paper but is executed so masterfully here that you instantly know you’ll never enjoy fried rice the same way anywhere else. Then there’s the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The crispiness is unreal, a golden crunch that somehow holds even under the sauce. And that sauce… it’s the definition of balance. Not too tangy like so many places mess up, but instead rich, sweet, and full-bodied, with a flavour that clings perfectly to the chicken without overpowering it. Every bite has that crunch sauce harmony that just hits the spot. And of course, the legendary Mama Chicken Wings. These are honestly addictive. They come out beautifully crunchy on the outside, but with a subtle sweetness that makes them so unique, unlike any wings I’ve ever had. The flavour profile is incredible, savoury, slightly sweet, perfectly seasoned, with a texture that makes you want to keep going back for more. They’re not just wings, they’re an experience. On top of all that, the service is second to none. Friendly, warm, consistent every single time. and they really care about the food they serve. You feel looked after the moment you walk in. Mama Wok has completely reset my standard for what Chinese food should be…truly top tier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

3 /5 Gareth Newark: First time trying Mama Wok. Hefty portions and the meat bits were very tasty but they messed up my order (I had 1 noodle dish & 1 rice dish but got 2 of the same rice one). BAO buns end up very soggy and prices in general are a bit too much. Ill be sticking with my usual place.

Mama Woks is as absolute quality. Best Chinese meal I’ve had in years. Everything we ordered tasted great, the prawns were massive in the special fried rice compared to the usual tiny minuscule shrimp you get from other restaurants. Order arrived quicker than expected. So glad we tried Mama Woks best in the area
