5 /5 Abdirisak Ahmed: If you’re in Tottenham and craving authentic Somali cuisine, Marina Restaurant in Bruce Grove is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a great dining experience.
The food is outstanding — rich in flavor, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. I highly recommend trying the lamb shank, which is perfectly slow-cooked until it’s tender and falling off the bone. The lamb mandi is another standout — aromatic rice paired with spiced lamb that’s both flavorful and comforting.
The beef steak surprised me with how juicy and well-marinated it was, cooked to perfection and served with just the right amount of spice. And for those who prefer poultry, the grilled chicken is juicy, full of flavor, and served with fragrant rice or flatbread.
Everything is fresh, halal, and clearly made with care. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Whether you’re familiar with Somali cuisine or trying it for the first time, Marina Restaurant delivers a fantastic experience.
Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!
