1 /5 sahra sahibi: I booked this hotel specifically for my wedding preparations and bridal photoshoot, expecting a comfortable and professional experience. Unfortunately, the stay was deeply disappointing and caused significant distress.
On arrival, one of the rooms had a strong and unpleasant smell, requiring an immediate room change. Although reception arranged this, it caused disruption on an already important and time-sensitive day.
Later that night, both rooms became extremely cold, despite outside temperatures being around -5°C. The night team attended several times and provided portable heaters, which were ineffective. We were then moved again in the middle of the night. The replacement rooms were no warmer, and by around 4:00am all six of us were forced to squeeze into one room just to keep warm.
Portable heaters and repeated room changes would not have been necessary if the central heating had been functioning properly. This was particularly upsetting given the significance of the occasion and the fact that we paid over ÂŁ800 for the stay.
There was also confusion and inconsistency regarding permission for wedding photography, despite prior written agreement with hotel staff. Being stopped mid-photoshoot added further stress at an already emotional time.
Following the stay, I raised these issues formally and requested a refund. This request has been refused, and my experience has been repeatedly dismissed, despite written email confirmation regarding the photoshoot and the events of the night.
While there is no monetary value that can truly compensate for the damage caused to the most special day of my life, the distress and disruption I experienced will stay with me forever. I would welcome a public response from hotel management to explain how this situation occurred

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the matter remains unresolved. Despite extensive correspondence and written evidence regarding the heating failure and photography permission, my request for a fair resolution has been refused and my experience has been dismissed.
I remain open to resolving this directly and would welcome meaningful engagement rather than a generic response. Given the significance of this booking, I hope management will reconsider.
