5 /5 Tanya Lake: My favourite meal of the year so far. Peckham Bazaar delivers an incredible tour of the Balkans in one sitting, with grilled dishes and mezze that are full of flavour and beautifully balanced. We shared fluffy pitta with a dip, followed by chickpea croquettes, beetroot with whipped mizithra, grilled tiger prawns with Greek orzo, pumpkin and Parmesan manti, and a standout stuffed globe courgette. Every dish was spot on and clearly cooked with care. The atmosphere was warm and buzzy even on a Monday night, and seeing the chef grilling in the open kitchen adds to the experience. A true neighbourhood gem and a must visit in Peckham.
5 /5 Jeremy Cowan: Peckham Bazaar is, without question, our favourite restaurant in London.
Tucked away just off Bellenden Road, it feels like one of those rare places that never tries too hard and yet gets everything exactly right. The food is exceptional, thoughtful, seasonal and quietly confident, with Balkan and Eastern Mediterranean influences that feel both comforting and exciting. Every dish is beautifully balanced, generous without being heavy, and clearly cooked with care and skill.
5 /5 Hannah Shattock: I booked Peckham bazaar for my 26th birthday lunch for 15 people and it was FLAWLESS. The food was incredible and so nice for sharing - no dish missed the spot (although the chicken souvlaki, flat breads and dips, courgette fritters were stand out!). Beyond this, the staff made the experience the most hospitable and lovely I could have ever dreamed of (special shout out to Tim who made my day so so special!). Honestly I rarely leave reviews but this was the best experience and I’m so grateful. Thank you!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a birthday lunch spot with friends!
5 /5 Pippa Dyer: I absolutely love Peckham Bazaar - I have been a few times over the years and went yesterday for lunch with friends. The food was all excellent, great sized portions and the flavours made me feel like I was on holiday in Greece! Gorgeous restaurant ambience and great service. It was my first time sitting inside and it is quite small so definitely book in advance - there’s spill over onto the heated terrace but it was special sitting inside. They made space for our pram and they also allow dogs! 10/10 will be returning again and again
5 /5 Darian Thomson: Food here was very nice, good quality and well cooked. Some very nice star dishes. I enjoyed visiting here, book in advance as availability isnt great on the day when I wanted to go. Had to get an earlier meal but that was a Friday night.
Tom Cornell Really nice place. Had the biryani which was fantastic. Good sized portions and amazing flavours. Would recommend this. Very friends staff.
K.L Delicious grilled Middle Eastern food (I was served by the Afghan gentleman) that was opened in mid 2025 - modern and with plenty of seating further back. With a combination of different rice, wraps and even fast food options, I had a chicken tawok with rice, vegetables, sauces and a soft drink which was cooked perfectly. Although service can be slow during busy periods since it seems only one person is working on getting the food ready, a lot of the food is made fresh, cooked well and nicely seasoned which is worth the wait if youre not in a rush - definitely a bit underrepresented and deserves a try. Recommended and will come back soon.
f shirley “shirlz” I couldn’t wait to try this Haitian restaurant. It was exciting to know there’s Haitian cuisine all the way in London. As soon as we walked in I felt the warmth and so welcomed. The drinks had the perfect mix of liquor- they definitely didn’t hold back. The food was delicious, fresh and authentic. I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up talking to the owner as we dined in. You can see when someone really pours their love into something. Great experience, great food
Dania kishmeeri Can’t recommend Sahtein Kensington enough. The food was delicious fresh, full of flavour, and really comforting. The customer service was just as good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
It’s got such a cosy, relaxed vibe too perfect for enjoying a laid-back meal. Seating is limited but there is the option to take away.
I recommend the Khabsa and Mandi. The mango masala wings were flavourful and crispy. Their Karak was really good and is paired great with the luqma. Definitely recommend!
Tammy Desouza Ordered takeaway few times now for collection, the restaurant is really nice to sit in though. Staff/owner really lovely people. Food is really tasty, making my way through the menu!
ZombBusyShowTech Absolutely amazing staff, I am homeless, and every time i come with 1 or 2 £ they always have me food. Amazing people, and I wish there was more in this world. The big chain business as Domino, Kfc, or McDonalds they wont give you a portion of fries. Which is very sad to be honest. Its a small family run shop/ restaurant that helps you. Dont give it a miss. Food is excellent and the stuff is out of this world
