1 /5 J F: Placed an order with today for delivery. My family and I are regular customers and have always had excellent food and service, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing. Their service and delivery and customer care process clearly need improvement if they want to keep customers.
Within 30 seconds of ordering, I received a call demanding a £5 delivery charge, despite already paying their calculated fee on their website. The staff member confirmed i had paid but still insisted I “hand over any loose coins to give the driver”. The call was made from a personal number, not their business line, which felt odd. I found all this completely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially after already paying in full.
This experience has completely changed my opinion of the business. Sadly, they have lost not just me, but my whole family as loyal customers as they overheard the conversation. Very disappointing — especially when there are far better Indian restaurants with excellent manners, service, and customer care. Absolute cheek and disgusting service from one staff member today.
