4 /5 Travelling Valentines: The owner, Russ, is super friendly and easy to chat to. Really enjoyed the fish and chips, decent value. Just bear in the mind, the vinegar was heavily watered down. Overall, we would visit again.

5 /5 Caroline: This fish and chip shop is FANTASTIC! They cater for my Gluten Free needs and I feel very confident eating here. They cook the chips and other GF food separately and use clean, separate utensils so I don’t need to be fearful of cross contamination. Russ and his team are so lovely. They’re friendly, kind people and I can’t rate them highly enough! The food tastes soooo good. We had GF Halloumi, GF Cod Bites and chips. The portion sizes are generous and it’s worth every penny to be able to eat good food with the rest of my family and friends without feeling left out (because so many chip shops fry in the same oil as their non GF food, so I can’t eat from those places). The rest of the gang had cod, sausages, burgers, chips and were equally as impressed. The food is tasty, fresh, expertly cooked and served with a smile - can’t ask for much more! Try them! You won’t be disappointed…..well done Russ The Chipper ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 /5 Marc Roby: Best fish and chips around. The chips are properly cooked (so surprising how many places won’t leave their chips in a little longer!). Russ is also a legend; friendly, reasonably priced and high quality - couldn’t ask for more!!

5 /5 Jenny Corby: Cannot fault it. Absolutely LOVE this venue my Mum and Dad have been going every week since it opened and they love it as their weekly treat. All the staff are so lovely Dad always gets remembered and superb service which means the world to us both! The menu is brilliant we have tried several different things always amazingly fresh tasty and brilliantly served! If you havent got Russ Tge Chipper as a routine dinner date why not!
