The food tasted so fresh and comforting — it really reminded me of home. The place has a calm and welcoming vibe, and the staff were so kind and friendly. It’s not just about the food, it’s the feeling you get — like you’re eating with your family. I’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves home-style food and warm hospitality.

5 /5 Rita Giri: I recently ordered Mushroom 65, Chicken Biryani, and Mutton Rolls from Sajee Restaurant, and once again they did not disappoint! I have been a huge fan of their biryani for the last 2 years — the portion size is generous, full of flavour, and always perfectly cooked. The Chicken Biryani is consistently delicious and satisfying every single time. This time I tried Mushroom 65, and it honestly impressed me even more. It was crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with amazing flavour. A perfect starter! The Mutton Rolls were also fresh, tasty, and cooked just right. Every dish was very tasty and delicious. You can really feel the quality and care in their food. Thank you, Sajee Restaurant, for always serving such amazing food. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Sandy: Stumbled upon this restaurant after shopping for indian groceries one fine evening. Having a quick glance inside, it looked really busy so I was curious to see what this place served. Im glad I managed to get a seat, the manager greeted us and was very polite from the start. The service was on top of getting our food and checking in on us. The food was really authentic and good. My favourite is the Chicken Devil, it was tangy and spicy and very delicious. The dosa was also splendid, the chutneys tasted homemade and some of my favourite chutneys Ive had in London so far! The biriyani was big and the Kothu was MASSIVE, the portion sizes in general are pretty good. The Vada was alright, it wasnt as crispy as I hoped it would be. The mutton roll was however nice and crispy! All in all, the Sri Lankan dishes hit the spot. Will def be coming back for more.

We would like to thank the staffs and especially the owner whos very kind to heart and visit each table and ask about the food and check if everything is okay. Very few good souls youll ever meet.

Since it was Friday and I was not at work, I opted for the Friday Special vegetable thali and every single element was delicious and well spiced. I had a very warm welcome from the owner who swung by my table and added some saag to what I was eating as well as offering me a papadam and a dessert. Theres a lovely ambience here, I highly recommend this as a spot to eat in Lewisham.
