Solent Cafe - (Near , london)

5 /5 Gary Delaney: Nice relaxed cafe within our hotel. Our breakfasts were served here (buffet style but with quality ingredients) and we had an afternoon tea (extra points for home made scones which were amazing)

1 /5 Alex Shall: Food is pretty grim. Overcooked pasta with under seasoned sauces. Pizza was just about ok. Focaccia starter tasted stale or at least straight out of the freezer.

2 /5 James Clayton: Visited on the 23/03/2022 as staying on site. Would recommend going elsewhere if possible, if not due to Spa bookings like ourselves would keep in mind the following regarding this Cafe. Open at 12 as they state, this was when our booking was. They were still packing up from breakfast. Felt like you shouldn’t be there! Service was extremely slow and most items on the menu are terribly overpriced for the quality of food you get. The menu is very small also with weird combinations and a lack of vegetarian options. No vegetarian mains other then egg sandwich’s and if your vegan no luck at all. Could hear managers arguing with staff and getting annoyed as they didn’t know what to do. If you can’t teach your staff you shouldn’t be in that position and you certainly shouldn’t be doing it in front of customers. Would recommend for drinks only whilst sitting outside the front, drinks are priced inline with most hotels and the drinks area out front is nicely sized this way you avoid the row going on inside.

4 /5 Holly L: Fine cafe while youre staying at the hotel. Service could be better and quicker, but seems theyre doing the best they can with short staff. Food was tasty.
