4 /5 T Bap: I visited Starboy Grill Restaurant & Bar around 9pm and ordered jollof rice and suya chicken for takeaway. Each dish was £6, bringing the total to £12, which felt reasonable. The food itself was absolutely delicious and scrumptious — so much so that I was genuinely disappointed when it finished and wished I had ordered two portions! The flavours were rich, well-seasoned, and very satisfying, and I would definitely go back again based on the quality of the meal alone. However, the service was quite slow. I didn’t receive my food until about 10pm, which felt like a very long wait for jollof rice and chicken. While the food made up for it in taste, the waiting time of one hour for takeaway could definitely be improved. Overall, great food, but patience is required.

3 /5 Adeleke Taiwo: Very very long wait to be served, small space and gets crowded very fast. Walking through the kitchen to use toilet isnt ideal ,especially since the kitchen floor is also very greasy and slippery. Same wash handbasin for toilet and kitchen staff is kind of disgusting. The Suya and fish were however quite delicious

5 /5 Bello Mharyam: The shawarma is a 100% minus nothing Tozo suya tastes so.delicious and the grillwd fush sauce is a banger. Love it

5 /5 Manuel Faju: Starboy Restaurant is absolutely immaculate! I thoroughly enjoyed the palm wine and the meat platter. The quality, especially of the meat, was outstanding. As a Nigerian, I’m usually very picky and only trust my mum’s cooking, so I was sceptical at first. But this food completely surprised me. The flavours just kept coming and every bite was delicious. The chef is clearly extremely talented, and I would highly recommend Starboy to anyone. Whether you’ve never tried Nigerian food before or you already love African cuisine, this is the perfect place to experience it. And let me say it again: the meat platter is an absolute banger!
