5 /5 Chieh-Yun Lin: As a Taiwanese person, I have to say its truly authentically "Taiwanese"!
The most anticipated dish was the tempura (sweet rice cake), made with high-quality ingredients—it instantly transported me back to Taiwan!
The fried pork chop tasted just like what youd find in a Taiwanese bento shop; the meat was perfectly marinated.
The signature Taiwanese beef noodles used brisket, stewed until tender and flavorful, with a broth that wasnt too salty.
The Taiwanese braised pork rice with pork belly was amazing—no rotten pork smell like in the UK. The braised egg was also very flavorful; highly recommended!
The salted chicken was a classic Taiwanese night market snack; the meat was incredibly tender.
Overall, it was truly amazing, even better than Taiwanese restaurants in London.
The tempura and fried pork chop were flavors we cant replicate at home.
Being able to taste Taiwanese flavors right here in Reading is so touching!
