3 /5 Patrick N.: We lunched here in June and had an okay experience. My husband and in-laws ordered the roasts, which they generally enjoyed, although they messed up my FIL’s order and served him pork instead of chicken. As well, the dishes were garnished with an overly sweet purple carrot purée that was bordering on dessert territory. It wasnt a terrible addition, but it would have been better without it. Don’t monkey with a roast, says my British husband.
My appetiser, the salt and pepper squid, was unremarkable. The wild garlic coleslaw was also okay.
The cutlery could’ve been cleaned and handled more hygienically. My knife had a whole bunch of fingerprints on the blade, which was off-putting to me.
