Sophie C I love ethiopian and eritrean food, and would say this is one of the best in the area. As a non vegan I’ve had both fully vegan and non vegan option and both were amazing. Pictured is the vegan option. Delicious dahl in the middle. Thanks!

James Abella We decided to eat here to celebrate the end of my auntie-in-laws cancer treatment and was served by Mike who was absolutely hilarious! Gave us a really friendly service and made the day a great one. Food was really great, prepared hot and arrived in good time. The value for what we got as well for all of us was amazing!

Samanta NiauraitÄ— Lovely local find! We came for a quick dinner and I had gluten free pizza. Very nice for gluten free and staff was lovely, Anisha was serving us, was very sweet and informative, Dani was at the bar I guess and made our drinks. Both lovely girls. Presentation of the drinks was lovely (ice bucket for cocktail on the rocks was lovely touch) and restaurant was very well maintained and very clean. Definitely coming back, thank you!

Kalitta Raftery An excellent and delicious vegan offering. Extensive vegan menu. Squid exquisite and chewy, crisp on outside. Vegan duck pancakes is a must. Chicken balls and chowmein v. Tasty. My 3 year old loved duck, rice and chicken balls I was shocked it can be really hard to get vegan food out for him. Other menu items can also be vegan so ask. Good service very professional but for me they were a bit slow to prepare. For this they compensated me with a free dish on the house. Reasonably priced too. Worth a visit 100 percent I will be back despite living over an hour away! Updated from previous review on 2026-03-05

Maria Food was rich in flavours and very authentic taking me back to the days I was in TĂĽrkiye. The grilled dishes were very tender, juicy and tasty of herbs and spices. The mezes were also great and nicely presented. The rice is delicious and all the food tasted like it was made with real Turkish hands and heart. The ambience is also nice with the warm lighting and temperature. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone :)

Ferry Boat Inn Tottenham -

Earnest Hutchings Review: Visiting The Ferry Boat Inn, Tottenham I recently stopped by The Ferry Boat Inn in Tottenham, and it turned out to be one of those classic London pub experiences that blends history with a relaxed, modern vibe. Atmosphere: The pub sits right by the River Lea, which gives it a slightly rustic, riverside charm. Inside, it’s spacious and welcoming, with a mix of traditional wooden décor and casual seating. It felt lively but not overwhelming — perfect for a relaxed evening. Food & Drinks: I ordered a pint from their rotating cask ales, which was fresh and well‑kept. The menu is very much pub comfort food: fish & chips, burgers, pies, and sharing platters. My fish & chips were crisp, golden, and satisfying, while friends enjoyed hearty burgers. Prices were reasonable for London, making it good value. Service: Staff were friendly and attentive, even though the pub was busy. Drinks arrived quickly, and food didn’t take long either.
