2 /5 Angela Nisco: We had a big family Christmas lunch. Firstly, we had such a wonderful lady serving us by the name of Taylor. She was absolutely fantastic, patient and very helpful. Most of the staff were friendly. I ordered a confit garlic foccacia, how it was advertised on the menu (which was one slice of foccacia and the rest sourdough which was not advertised like that). The butter was brown but I thought nothing of it. I began eating and immediately tasted meat, I am a vegetarian. I checked with another member of staff she confirmed it’s chicken skin butter. She said is that ok, she apologised multiple times, then wanted to walk away. Then brought me butter. I had no offer to change it or anything. I haven’t eaten meat for over 25 years. What if someone has an allergy also, that could be life threatening. Overall, the food was okay, I didn’t enjoy the vegan burger and a few family members had the beef roast which they found to be chewy and not well cooked. Only decent thing was the sticky toffee pudding. I don’t think I would be going back.
