5 /5 H Barron: We had an excellent stay here over the Valentines weekend. The pub and rooms are very characterful and warm, considering the age of the building. Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

5 /5 Alan Kentington-Burke: Starting a new little venture of leaving a monthly review for places I visit, and this month’s spotlight goes to The Kings Arms. I stopped by during the Christmas Light Switch-On, which turned out to be a tremendous way to elevate the evening. I enjoyed a great drink with some friends, and the service was absolutely top-notch. Yes, the queue at the bar was on the longer side, but honestly, it was well worth the wait especially considering the efforts of the staff handling the full force of Godalming’s festive crowds! A particular shoutout to the two young employees (one boy, one girl) working the bar with impressive speed, and the older male staff member who was equally excellent. I’m already looking forward to visiting again… though perhaps on a night when half the town isn’t lining up behind me!

5 /5 Helen Hammonds: STAY We stayed at the Kings Arms for one night. The decor of the room was luxurious and elegant. We felt very pampered and loved all the extra touches like bottled water at our bedside, hot chocolate and biscuits.
