5 /5 Galin Lowe: I went for Sunday lunch and, although it wasn’t the best roast I’ve ever had, there were some lovely touches that I really appreciated. The unlimited roast potatoes and sides were great, and the vouchers gave us a generous discount that made the meal feel like really good value. The puddings were the highlight—absolutely delicious. It’s a nice, busy place with a good atmosphere, and I’d happily go again.

5 /5 K W (KW): Visited on a Saturday at 1.15pm. Very busy but luckily we booked a table. Ordered the pork skewers for starter, absolutely stunningly delicious. Trout for main, very succulent and wonderfully cooked. The service was wonderful. I would absolutely go back not just for the stunning food but the superb service.

1 /5 Angela Brandenburger: The pork roast at 1pm was dry and inedible. I actually spit out both the pork and the potatoes because I almost choked on them. That was after 2 jugs of gravy on it. Strange as the food is usually incredible at this pub.

5 /5 Daniel: We had a great time last night at the Queens Head, having chosen it for our belated Christmas work party celebrations. James was a huge help in organising the booking and menu for the evening, making the whole experience very easy. He and the team took great care of us all evening, with service being the perfect balance of being attentive, yet relaxed and laid back. Wonderful food all came out as requested and everyone in the party received their meals together. All of our guests had a great evening. Can’t thank all of the staff at the Queens Head enough.
