5 /5 John Etheridge: Excellent choice for a light lunch for us. Our sandwiches were fresh, bread toasted to perfection. Our drinks were cold and the tea hot. Friendly reception and very comfortable atmosphere at the outside seating. Would stop again if in the area.

Best scotch eggs whether meat based or Vegetarian and a great selection of toasties and if you’d just like to try your English breakfast with the best bread and a decent cup of tea. This is the place. Indra the chef is top notch for me on home cooking and what a find. She’s based in the grounds of Red Lion garden. So if you fancy a drink a little stronger the pub is just a stone throw away. Prices are incredibly reasonable for home made food of the best quality and all run by a one woman show. 5 /5 Julie miller: Discovered this lovely place whilst looking for a quick breakfast before our long drive home. Was greeted warmly, placed our order and the kind lady gave us a couple of towels to sit on as the benches were a bit wet due to earlier rain. Was expecting our coffee to arrive in a takeaway cup so was more than happy when it came in a mug, nice and hot. Breakfast came shortly after, mine a bacon and egg roll (requested bacon to be crispy) and partner had a sausage and egg roll. Both were cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. Overall, we were both impressed by the food and service we received and would definitely come back on our next visit to the Cotswolds. 5 ⭐
