1 /5 J Johnson: We went in to enquire about a table for two, as we were staying just three minutes away. When we arrived, the man at the welcome desk didn’t acknowledge us at all and left us standing there, which felt very unwelcoming.
When he finally acknowledged us, we asked about a table for two. He bluntly replied that the only availability was at the bar, then immediately turned back to whatever he was doing on his laptop. There wasn’t even a moment for us to explain that we were happy to come back later.
The interaction was very unpleasant, and I genuinely hope he improves his approach so no one else feels dismissed like that. After leaving, we checked online and saw that the next available table was in just 45 minutes.
Do better next time, Beefeater. I was unhappy enough to leave a bad review and I wasn’t even a customer.
