5 /5 Unknown Reviewer: We had a truly excellent experience at Sushi Co, and it honestly deserves every star.
From the moment we arrived, the restaurant felt calm, clean, and welcoming. At the time, there were no other customers dining in, which created a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. This made a huge difference for autistic people like me and my daughter, as the low noise level and lack of rush made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. It is rare to find places where you can genuinely feel at ease, and this was one of them.
The cleanliness stood out immediately. Everything looked spotless, from the counter and kitchen area to the seating and displays. You could clearly see the care taken in maintaining high hygiene standards, which always gives extra confidence when eating out.
A very special mention goes to the chef, Dilpreet. She was on her own and managed everything incredibly well. She came out and served us personally, while at the same time keeping all takeaway orders running smoothly and on time. Watching her handle multiple tasks calmly and professionally was genuinely impressive. Even without other customers inside, the workload was clearly demanding, yet she never made us feel rushed and provided excellent, warm customer service throughout.
The food itself was outstanding. Everything was beautifully presented, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavours were fresh, well balanced, and exactly what you hope for from good sushi. Each dish looked as good as it tasted, and the presentation showed real pride in the craft. You could tell that quality and consistency matter here.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Excellent customer service, a peaceful and autism-friendly environment, spotless cleanliness, and genuinely delicious food. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great sushi and thoughtful service in Streatham.
