Boltons Restaurant - (Near City of London, South East)

5 /5 Amy: We visited the restaurant for lunch on Thursday. It is not the first time we have been for lunch here and we have always liked the food. For starters fresh asparagus was wonderful. The most liked was Milanese and fresh tuna fish. Both wonderful. The only complaint is the service. The waiters push you too much and do not let you enjoy the good food. In the end they make us wait more than 10 minutes to bring 3 coffees. Still ... we had a very good and tasty lunch.

4 /5 Rob: The food is well priced but not really the high standard it used to be a few years ago. I think their prices have remained still but the quality is not top notch. It’s perfectly good enough for lunch and the service is the same unique experience, but I can’t help feeling if you want excellent Italian food, there are better places in the City, albeit charging slightly more. The scallops and bacon seemed more quantity than quality. The quantity was much better than Giorgio’s but the presentation was basic.

5 /5 Kassy Kuci: We visited the restaurant for lunch on Thursday. The restaurant was very full. A fantastic atmosphere. We asked for Ossobuco on the menu, a dish that we had tried the other time and liked very much. Unfortunately, it is not in the menu this time, a tall, very funny waiter explained to us, but he suggested the famous Milanese. One of the chefs specialties, he told us.I asked for veal Milanese while my friend asked for chicken Milanese. It was truly a fantastic dish. A big well done to the chef and the service, who, although they were super busy, the food was fantastic. Well done.

5 /5 Vishal Nair: We turned up at Boltons without a reservation on a Wednesday afternoon..big mistake given how busy London can be around Christmas. We were told a table would be ready in 20 mins so we decided to grab a drink at their bar. 45 minutes later still no table but we could see how busy the place was abd the staff were trying their best. Finally, when we got our table we placed our orders and food arrived swiftly. The prawn starter was sumptuous and definitely worth the wait. The mains portion size was huge but delicious. Finally, they offered to compliment the drinks for the wait which I thought was a nice gesture. The restaurant is a bit tired but staff and food make it worth a visit.

5 /5 Elizabeth Lumb: We visited the restaurant for dinner on Friday. It is not the first time we have visited it and every time we have had a good experience. The food in this restaurant has changed a lot compared to the other times. The prawns for starter and the lobster pasta were wonderful. Cooked with a mastery. The only thing we did not like was the service. Every time we asked for a cocktail. This time the waiter who served us said he could not do it because there was no one at the bar. Every time we have enjoyed the drinks from this restaurant and they have been very good. I am giving it 5 stars only for the food which we enjoyed a lot.
