5 /5 Biscuit Robbie: We love a takeaway from Tarka restaurant (old Pad Pad). Its also a lovely local small restaurant in our community. Recently we had a lamb Pasanda and a Chicken Shaslik. Both were exceptionally tasty. Having a takeaway or going to a restaurant is a treat and you wont be disappointed at Tarka. Your order is cooked fresh so enjoy the time you are waiting with a Bombay Bicycle beer and conversation. The staff are very professional and friendly. We are so lucky to have Tarka in Chesham
5 /5 Giblet: We had a great meal here last evening, one of us is veggie and chose the Spinach and Chick Pea Puri which was delicious and not seen on a menu before, followed by Paneer Shashlick also very tasty. We selected the Tarka New Special Tiffin which came beautifully present. We selected a Tiger prawn Dhansak and Tiger prawn Biryani as our main with a Spinach and Potato side. The starter platter was great. All the food was very flavoursome, steaming hot and our visitor is very keen to return with their family to share the experience. The bottles of red wine consummed were also very nice wines.
5 /5 Grahame Wheeler: So pleased this takeaway/restaurant is back in Chesham. It was call Papad and been closed for a re-fit. It has just re-opened, we had a takeaway on Saturday night and absolutely brilliant, food tasty, hot, good quality and quantity. Speedy delivery 45mins to Latimer this has been the only takeaway we have used since 2022 and understand why they get such tremendous reviews. We tried some other places some were appealing so pleased they are back. Thank you for great takeaway service and food.
5 /5 R Coles: Popped in Tarka tonight as I was keen to revisit them after their re-opening. Everything I can comment on was excellent! For once I chose a dish that wasnt packed with chili. I had the monk fish kashmiri - it was divine!
Well worth the visit!!!!!
5 /5 Murray Stewart: The name has changed, but food is still excellent. The interior has had a smart revamp, but the prices have not been hiked to pay for it. Discreet, friendly staff. Wine is less than £15 per bottle!
E L Huge food safety issue. This is now the second time that I have ordered a prawn dish and been given chicken. On one occasion I bit into the chicken which is hugely disappointing as a pescatarian who does not eat chicken/ meat and have not done so in 20+ years. I called on both occasions and they were not apologetic in the slightest, telling me to come and collect another or it would take ages for delivery. In addition to this, the dishes were cold despite me ordering and collecting within 20 minutes, so clearly not made fresh. Do not recommend. Poor service. Will not be ordering again.
lex green i had the most delicious burger with bacon and the most incredible smoked cheddar from KO BBQ. Food is freshly made to order so can take a bit of time when he’s busy but every bite was worth the wait! The chips were beyond incredible. can’t wait to eat KO BBQ again
Ralu Catana Beautifully run family business, cosy ambience, balanced, yummy food and friendly staff. Avocado on toast with roast tomatoes for me today (vegan adapted on request) and eggs benedict for my mum. If you happen on Chesham High Street, Junction will not be your cheapest choice - as good things never are, but you will depart a satisfied customer.
Tom Duggan Fantastic dinner with family pre-New years. The food is outstanding, good variety including vegetarian and vegan options. The marinated halloumi was a highlight! the kitchen is open which adds to the spectacle The service was excellent and there a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is stunning and beautifully decorated. Thank you to all the staff!
