Chi Man Chan Authentic handmade Hong Kong dim sum—absolutely loved it! It’s got that genuine HK flavor without the heavy MSG aftertaste you often find in Chinatown. Finally found someone to come here with me! Plus, the restaurant is right across from the airport runway. Watching the planes take off and land while eating was such a cool experience.

Anup Dhami I had a really great experience at Chopstix Basingstoke. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and served quickly, which is perfect when you’re looking for something tasty and filling. The portions were generous and the flavours were spot on. What really stood out though was the service. Manish was excellent—very friendly, polite, and attentive. He made sure everything was just right and checked in to see if we were happy with our meal. It’s always nice when staff go the extra mile, and his warm attitude made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding customer service from Manish. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick but high-quality meal in Festival Place.

sonder ordered efo elegusi/ pounded yam and suya efo elegusi/ pounded yam was fantastic great portion wise and flavour no complaints suya lacked that authentic taste but not bad

Lizzie Mabbott The concept of this restaurant is guest chefs doing residencies, so the menu changes weekly. I visited when Fabrizio Ricotta was cooking and we had a lovely time. Food was delicious, especially the parmigiana Bianca, and the dessert - semi freddo with amaretti and sour cherries - was so good we ordered it three more times. The service is sweet and personable, and the space is intimate. There are a couple of large sharing tables and seats along a side bar - there aren’t (if I recall correctly) individual 2-top or 4-tops, so bear in mind when you book.

Johanna Outstanding! Came in out the blue on a Sunday evening and it was still quite busy. Wow, how refreshing to come to a restaurant where you get served in a timely fashion in a comfortable environment with delicious food! Massive portions and a great price. It’s a tradition but a large selection menu and very decent prices. Will be returning for sure.

Nigel Allery Wonderful meal. As ever. Different with the alcohol free Cobras but meal for three under £100 and I could drive home! Cobra free really hits the spot! And the zero red wine too. Great value. Great food and experience. See you soon team!
