5 /5 Amy: Went in for a late breakfast. Very accommodating the chef was very chatty and made some fresh eggs which was very kind. The man when your first come in was very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely go back and it was a good price

1 /5 Ellie: Visited yesterday evening for a roast. This used to be a regular spot for us, but this was our first visit post Covid. The staff were welcoming and our server was excellent with the children, despite being clearly overstretched covering many tables. Unfortunately, the food fell well below expectations bland, lukewarm at best and poor quality. Only the gammon was acceptable, the remaining meats were fatty and tasteless and I bit down on a piece of bone from careless carving. The sides were no better, with mac and cheese resembling plain pasta and very few vegetables. The table hadn’t been cleaned or prepared on arrival. Although this was sorted quickly, it’s basic service that should be completed before guests are seated. At payment, we were also informed that £50 notes couldn’t be accepted as no manager was on site. Overall, standards have dropped significantly since pre-Covid and judging by the number of similar recent reviews, it’s clear this isn’t a one-off and that management have no intention of addressing these issues. At over £70 for two adult carveries, three children’s meals and drinks, the price felt excessive for the quality. We won’t be returning.

3 /5 Janice Davis: Very sad to say this, BUT Denham Toby carvery could learn from Langley Toby carvery about serving good quality food ,not warm/cold /dried up food. Denham is very friendly, clean and efficient BUT it falls below standard in its food and food presentation department. It needs new plates, my plate plus the others I saw clearly needed to be replaced plus the teapot was dark brown inside ,but the black marks on the plates are because they need replacing. Keeping the food hot ,nice and replacing when needed would have to be looked at plus make sure your staff take breaks as They All looked sad and very tried. I know this was the afternoon so look at staff plus times etc ,as also there was no staff watching the food . It was just left un covered and the meat was served barely warm ,then put on marked old plates. If you need to close for a few hours do so BUT please respect your customers who may not have much money BUT need a good Hot Meal for what ever reason (late lunch or just a simple celebration Birthday etc ) .

It’s £7.99 Monday to Friday and £8.49 on weekends (7am–11am), and you can go back for more, which is perfect if you’re really hungry. Good variety of classic breakfast items, freshly prepared, and ideal for a filling start to the day. A solid, budget-friendly option for breakfast.

2 /5 Andre Govia: Improvement needed in some key areas . No meet and greet on entry or exit . Food was middle of the road . Meat ( minimal portions) and a little fatty so not premium cuts . Yorkshire pudding was so dry it was had to leave it . Gravy was good but watery roast potatoes were good Carrots were very dry indeed. Mint sauce was watery Stuffing was all good The food was hot so no complaints there . Outside Dustbins were overflowing with poop nappy’s and carpark had litter . Definitely a management tuneup could be suggested.
