I recently hired the downstairs venue to host my partner’s baby shower and birthday, and the staff were nothing short of incredible. Big shoutout to Fred and the whole team for making the day so special! We had such a wonderful experience — everything went perfectly — and I honestly can’t wait to hire the venue again. I absolutely love this restaurant and if you are happy to eat anything with a sense of imagination, mystery and creative combinations, then this is the place for you. Mariam.LeeLoo The Meeting Place is an absolute gem by the seaside! The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, with a stunning sea view that makes it the perfect spot to relax over brunch or lunch. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re after a leisurely brunch, a light lunch, or just a coffee with a view, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

tina hh Came in November for lunch with friends so ordered a lot of food to taste. The portions aren’t all that big so it adds up cost wise, when you add a glass of wine here & there for 4 we spent just shy of £300. But the food was good, taramasalata & hash brown were the standouts, suet pudding was also excellent . Fish cooked perfectly but personally didn’t think that much of the broth. All in all very good
