Banana Tree Islington - (Near City of London, london)

rajiv interesting dive bare type spot with some cool american saloon style decor. came here for the unlimited wings which at £13 was very well priced. youve got two decent options of bbq and buffalo sauce both of which are very nice. The wings arent the biggest but given the amount theyre churning out these, they arent dry at all and are very well cooked, still very tender. we also tried some of their nuclear wings which were okay, not as spicy as i expected. cheap drinks even outside of happy hour

Tom Popped into this place last Friday (early march) and had no booking. It was bus but managed to get a seat at the bar. I had toast with pate to start and a vegetarian main. Think it was sweet potato with pecorino over the top. Something like that. Both dishes were delicious and left me wanting more so I ordered tiramisu for dessert. Equally yummy. The foods clearly great here but what I liked most was the atmosphere and the vibe. It’s dimly lit and still vibrant. Noisy but in a good way. Staff are vigilant and quick. Wine was also good! I loved my meal here and I’m 100% going to go back. Probably more than once.

April Macpherson Tried The Eagle for the first time and was so glad to have gotten a table straight away. I can see why it gets so busy with its great menu. An intimate layout with a vibrant atmosphere. Staff were attentive and food, wonderful!!

Ahmet Özerli We went there for our 2nd anniversary and it did not disappoint. Really cosy place with great atmosphere and good food. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Prices are decent too. Had a great time there, would recommend.

Heike Munro I was a little bit concerned about a fine dining experience in tooting which turned out to be brilliant. Table & Candle have a great concept, the chef Phillippe Sonou was incredible, the food delicious and the wine pairing worked well. Samantha was an amazing host. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Y M Food was excellent! We had pork escalopes and smoked fish for the main course - absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was overall so cosy: candlelight, live music, and a very welcoming vibe.
