Brasserie Blanc - Chancery Lane - (Near Westminster, london)

5 /5 Kerry Sieger: My sister and I went to Brasserie Blanc on a whim. French just sounded better than Italian, which had been our original plan. We are so glad we went! Everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was wonderful. I had escargots and sautéed mushrooms and artichoke hearts, finished with an apple tart. My sister had pate and pan fried trout finished with pistachio soufflé. We both had a glass of wine (Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon blanc, respectively). Every bit of the food was delicious. And the service! I jokingly mentioned to the waiter that I thought the vegan mushrooms and artichokes would taste better sautéed in butter, and he must have spoken to the chef because voila there was a distinct butter taste to my meal! The hostess was very friendly too, telling us the signature dessert (pistachio soufflé) and also mentioning the loyalty program at the restaurant (Le Club), which gave us a 25% discount. My sister and I enjoyed both the food and the service so much we’re planning to return tomorrow night, our last night in London, to try all the foods we didn’t get a chance to try tonight. I highly recommend Brasserie Blanc, especially the Chancery Lane location!

5 /5 Sonia Williams: Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was superb and there was an authentic French bistro vibe. Maciek our server was excellent, attentive but in a good way, offered suggestions and made our evening magical. Visited Saturday 25 October for my birthday and it ended a perfect day.

5 /5 Ali: A wonderful French restaurant with genuinely good food. The dishes were full of flavour, beautifully presented, and tasted authentically French. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. A great spot — I’d definitely come back.

4 /5 Nandini Mazumdar: Decent spot for French fare and wine - the French onion soup and the trout are great, the beetroot terrine was alright. Great service by the staff, and nice decor.

5 /5 Iain McNicol: Starter and main were superb. The wine was delicious. Didnt have dessert but they looked great and wish I had picked instead of the cheese. The cheese so-so. The service was excellent.
