5 /5 Kris Woodward: I recently had an unforgettable breakfast at Fego and I cant stop thinking about it! The South African breakfast, served in a roasting hot skillet, was absolutely incredible. The boerewors were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and the poached eggs were done to perfection—silky and rich. The sourdough was thick, toasted to the ideal crunch, and paired beautifully with the meal. The thick-cut house-smoked bacon was another standout, rich and smoky, without being too overpowering. But the Fego chakalaka? Unbelievable—spicy, tangy, and just the right kick to balance the rest of the dish. And the coconut flat white? Smooth, creamy, with a subtle sweetness that was a perfect complement. Honestly, it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. I’ll definitely be making the 20-mile trek back.
