5 /5 vidyanand prabhakar: Food and service are excellent in this restaurant, food was authentic and flavorful. Thukpa and jhol momo were quite delicious, while noodles and chhole bhature were tasty too. Worth visiting again!
5 /5 Vedha Narayanasamy: Fantastic Nepali food. We had the Jhol momo, chowmein noodles, samosa chaat and the chili chips. We are vegetarian, and the selection of vegetarian dishes was quite good.
5 /5 Saugat Chettri: Me and my friends had a lunch there. The food taste was so so good and i get the authentic taste in “Samya Baji” too and which is very rare. I am so happy that i found a hidden gem in Woolwich london and this is my go to place for the good food.
4 /5 David Ross: If you want authentic Nepalese food, then this is the place for you, and the fact that the restaurant is thriving in the midst of Greenwich’s large Nepalese community says it is doing things right. Its small corner location fills up quickly and reservations can be useful at peak times. Our group of four started with absolutely delicious Aloo Nimki and Samosa Chaat, then moved to some steamed momos. Our main was a vegetarian/chicken/lamb platter accompanied by some nicely done Cauli Aloo. We found the food quality to be very good and the prices reasonable, but service downstairs a bit slow.
1 /5 Mani Yendrapalli (Ram): Very disappointing experience. Ordered chicken fried rice and chilli chicken. The fried rice was extremely oily and poorly cooked. I specifically requested spicy, but the chilli chicken was sweet instead, with a very small portion. Total cost was nearly £19, which is not worth it at all. I contacted the restaurant, but they did not respond. Worst food experience so far, even with an Uber One membership.
T B The restaurant is in a busy location, and the environment was really friendly. The service was absolutely brilliant. Sinead served us and was so friendly and kind. She listened and delivered great service with a smile. All the dishes arrived within a good time and we were checked in on a few times. The food was really tasty, especially the sea bream and the charred corn ribs. I could have eaten another plate!
REVO COMMERCE The Naan Chanai was fresh, fluffy, and perfectly paired with rich, spiced chickpeas.
Halwa Puri was golden, light, and beautifully complemented by the sweet, aromatic suji halwa.
A truly authentic and satisfying Asian breakfast that felt both comforting and festive. Would recommend everyone.
Nicky Anderson Three Irish fellas walk into a bar… and you know what they order? Two Guinness and a gluten-free beer for the lady. They pet a few dogs, have a few chippies, and suddenly the world is right again... Bosh.
Julie-Anne Clements I booked a table upstairs for Sunday lunch over the bank holiday weekend for 5 ladies celebrating a birthday. The food was fantastic, it came out quickly, was beautifully cooked and the presentation was great. 4 of us had the roast beef and 1 had the roasted butternut squash and we shared side dishes of cauliflower cheese. All of the food was outstanding. The staff were lovely, really friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the music playing, the decor and general atmosphere. We are not local and were staying in the area and had booked The Rock Lodge based on a Google and Trip Advisor search. We highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again when in the area.
