5 /5 Sweta Surana Bhandari: I recently visited Namaste Village and was genuinely impressed. The food was incredibly flavorful, with each dish prepared using fresh ingredients and authentic spices specially the starter platter with beetroot kabab and onion bhaji. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable. A highlight of the visit was the dessert—“Hindustani “absolutely lovely! Twist to routine gulab jamun ice cream .It was the perfect finish to an already delicious meal. highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, delicious Indian food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

1 /5 Vikram S: We visited on Christmas Eve. The restaurant has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and we had made a reservation almost two months in advance, expecting a peaceful table. Instead, we were seated tightly next to another occupied table even though there was visible space elsewhere. I understand Christmas Eve can be busy, but it’s not pleasant to overhear other people’s conversations when space is available. The menu looks promising at first glance, but unfortunately that’s where things stalled. We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower and Masala Puri (both house specials) as appetizers, followed by the Jackfruit Biryani Medley. The Masala Puri was okay, but the Buffalo Cauliflower was quite subpar — it felt like deep-fried cauliflower with minimal or no batter and buffalo sauce poured on top. The biryani arrived only a few minutes after the starters and was already cold, making it hard to pick up any real flavor. We then tried a masala dosa, hoping to recover the meal, but that didn’t help either. The sambhar didn’t resemble sambhar, and the coconut chutney was mostly just coconut with little depth. At that point, there wasn’t much value in going back and forth. The only real highlight of the evening was the Prosecco. The staff did try their best, but there seemed to be a clear mismatch between what customers expect and what was delivered. I understand the restaurant may have been overwhelmed due to Christmas Eve, but food quality really shouldn’t suffer because of that. Unfortunately, this experience left us with no reason to rate it higher.

5 /5 Kunal Munshaw: We loved the delicious food, quality was really superior then other Indian restaurants. Its Vegetarian restaurant and many vegan options. Food is not oily and so many options to choose from. Staff was very courteous and professional. Ambiance is lovely and very nice location..Oxford definitely needed nice Indian restaurant and we believe this should not disappoint any food lovers. Go and enjoy it..

3 /5 Vibhor Sahrawat: Went to Namaste Village Oxford for dinner. I ordered the chef’s special dosa, but unfortunately I didn’t like it at all — the stuffing was very disappointing and didn’t live up to how it was described on the menu. The restaurant itself is decent and a nice place to go out. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server Khushi was absolutely lovely and made the experience much better with her warm and friendly attitude. Sadly, the food let me down, but the service definitely made the visit more pleasant.

5 /5 Emma Cox: Food was beautiful, staff were all very friendly and attentive. I visited with my mum before a theatre show, and we shared lots of different dishes - all were very nice, as well as the mocktails we tried! Would definitely go back again.
