5 /5 Foodie In_A_Hoodie: Havva and Hasan are the heart behind this beautiful family-run café, and you can feel their love in every detail. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Martina whose energy was so warm and genuine that it immediately set the tone for the day.
The food was absolutely delicious , homemade, comforting, and deeply fulfilling. I haven’t had such a lovely café day in a long time, and this one truly stood out as my favourite.
The space itself is beautifully decorated, with multiple lights hanging from the ceiling that creates a cozy, inviting glow. The seating is incredibly comfortable, and the noise level is just right , it’s lively but never overwhelming. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in.
We tried the Avocado Toast, featuring smashed avocado topped with perfectly poached eggs, feta, chilli flakes, and wild rocket, all served on sourdough bread. It was satisfying, balanced, and executed perfectly.
The Steak and Eggs was just as impressive, steak served with two fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and a homemade chimichurri sauce on sourdough. Rich, hearty, and full of flavour.
But the absolute star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding with homemade custard. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and the custard was so good I could genuinely eat it all day, every day.
You can truly tell this is a family business that pours love into their food. The attention to detail is immaculate, the service is kind and genuine, and the experience as a whole is unforgettable.
It is perfect for any celebration, or a perfect first date spot as you can stroll along the river after brunch.
Hands down one of the best cafés I’ve been to in London. Will definitely be back. ♥️
