5 /5 Rachel Burrell: Absolutely amazing evening. The service was so attentive with a special mention to Aliha and Cecelia. Food was simply outstanding. I had the Lamb, perfectly cooked with the Jollof rice, plantain and sensation oxtail Mac and cheese balls. This food was everything is intended to be. Flavourful, heartwarming and daring combinations of flavours. Drinks were mixed well and served beautifully too. I can’t fault anything and highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back.

5 /5 Lee Morton: Weve been meaning to try this place since it opened and finally got around to it over the weekend. Well, what can I say, meet my expectations completely. The food was of course excellent, especially the Pork Belly bites starter, but the service was on point, nod to our waitress Mel who gave us recommendations and her favourites. As well as the fore-mentioned Pork, we also had the Chicken Curry Nuggets and Ackee and Saltfish starters, all were delicious. So many of the mains sounded incredible but we went with the Lamb Rump and the Oxtail, again, faultless. Both cooked perfectly well, tender and tasty. Portions are a good size too, you will not leave hungry. Having seen and read plenty about their Sunday Service I had to give the Chimichurri Roasties a go and well, best roast potatoes Ive ever had. Will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast in future.

5 /5 Katie Rippe: Im honestly baffled by some of these reviews as we cant have visited the same restaurant. As someone who frequents restaurants all over London I can say this is the best one Ive been to since I visited (Gary Rhodes) Rhodes 24 years ago. The food was impeccable, the service very attentive, complementary and very welcoming. The head barman Matthew was very knowledgeable about the range of cocktails served. I work in the drinks industry and know how much drinks can impact a meal. I feel the price is very reasonable for the quality of food. Im a vegetarian and the Sunday roast was out of this world, not to mention the dessert, the lightest cake I have ever eaten. Keep doing what youre doing guys, you cant please everyone it seems but some people enjoy moaning!

5 /5 Gary H: We were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome, and the ambience of the restaurant was relaxed, with chilled background music playing. The décor and lighting were spot on. Our coats were taken and we were given a numbered token to retrieve them easily, which we thought was a really nice touch. We were then shown to our table at the front of the restaurant, overlooking the park. Our waitress, Mel, was incredibly welcoming, asking about our day and whether we had any questions about the menu. We’d booked a table after seeing Natty on BBC Saturday Kitchen the week before, so we were already excited. After looking over the menu, Mel returned with our drinks and we ordered two starters, two mains, and a side of crispy chips. To start, we had the roti with scotch bonnet butter, which was incredibly moreish, along with the chicken curry nuggets. WOW. For mains, we chose the jerk chicken supreme, and I ordered the wire wiri lamb that Natty had cooked on TV the week before. “Outstanding” was the word we both used to describe these dishes. For me, it was quite simply the best lamb dish I have ever had. After a short pause, we couldn’t resist dessert. We went for the sticky toffee pudding with chocolate foam and the apple crumble with ice cream—both absolutely delicious. After each course, the waiting staff were professional and attentive, wiping the table down every time, which was another lovely touch. Once we’d settled the bill, I thanked the waiting staff and then personally approached Natty to thank him for what was a truly sublime meal. Even though we’re from Southampton, we will most certainly be back again.

4 /5 C R: This is a good restaurant - good food with beautiful presentation. Plantain cooked in its skin was delicious and sweet just how I like it. Staff went over and above and the decor was nice. Dress code of smart casual, not used to that but it was fine. Food was tasty but not insanely delicious. Expensive but worth a visit, lots of vegan options and staff know what they’re talking about. Highlights were the experience and the presentation. Celeriac was delicious. Loads of veggie sides, many veganisable but not necessarily indicated on the menu so just ask. Good cocktails. We weren’t the biggest fans of the jollof, something wasn’t quite right not sure if maybe too many dry spices/texture a little unusual, but everything had flavour and nothing was bland.
