BONA FIDE -

Rating: 4.6 /5
Tony B BONA FIDE really is the light on the other side of the street at Temple Fortune. Now they serve alcohol and have an improved outside space which seems to be a bit of a Sun trap and even more warm and welcoming then ever perfect for catching the Sun with a drink in hand. But now there’s even more reason to stop by then for a perfectly made coffee, they’ve recently been granted their alcohol licence! It’s lovely to finally have the option to enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer, something this area has been missing for far too long. I’ve had their breakfast which is excellent by the way, but the other evening I wandered in after spotting someone enjoying a glass of wine with some nibbles and I’m so glad I did. They now stay open later, offering small tapas-style dishes a brilliant idea as well as larger dishes very tasty, that gives the place a relaxed, continental feel to visit in the evening as well. Attentive service, reasonable prices, and a welcoming vibe BONA FIDE is definitely one in this area to revisit again. Can also book for private parties. Will definitely be back more often. Thanks Tony

John Miller Absolutely loved my visit to Savastano Shisha Lounge and Restaurant. The shisha is smooth and full of flavour and the tea is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing with beautiful decor and the service is excellent from start to finish. A great place to unwind and enjoy a proper shisha session. Highly recommended.

Paola De Paola Photography Review for Isla Terrace at The Standard, London I’d love to share my experience photographing a wedding at the wonderful Isla Terrace at The Standard, near St Pancras Station in London. I recently photographed the gorgeous celebration of Simon and Roddy, joined by their two adorable dogs. They had their official ceremony just a few minutes away at Camden Town Hall, then continued their day surrounded by friends and family at this truly unique venue. The Isla Terrace feels like a tropical haven in the heart of London, full of lush greenery, palms, and natural light. It has that beautiful greenhouse feel, warm and relaxing, yet so stylish and modern. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and it honestly felt as though we were somewhere far away and exotic. The team were exceptional, especially Hannah Hillier, the senior manager on the day, who was kind, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. Everything flowed beautifully, and the couple felt completely relaxed, which made the whole experience a joy to photograph. If you’re planning a wedding near Camden Town Hall and want a venue that’s modern, creative, and effortlessly elegant, I can’t recommend Isla Terrace enough. It’s pet-friendly, beautifully designed, and has that perfect balance of style and comfort. I can’t wait to return, it’s definitely one of London’s hidden gems. I love it!!!! (Please note: my experience was as a wedding photographer rather than a dining guest.)

Majed Alnaqeeb Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Very good authentic Persian food with a twist. The starters are amazing with a good variety of high quality reasonably priced plates to share. In house made Persian bread. The main dishes are equally made with high quality ingredients and tasteful seasoning. Takeaway service. Popular for special occasions. Very good service. Recommended.

Hassan Aldarbesti The Booking Office 1869 at St Pancras beautifully combines stunning architecture with exceptional dining. Housed in the historic former ticket office of this iconic railway station, the restaurants Victorian grandeur creates an unforgettable atmosphere. The architecture alone is worth the visit - soaring ceilings, ornate details, and the preserved historical features transport you back to the golden age of rail travel. Its a magnificent space that feels both grand and welcoming. We visited for breakfast with my family, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. The menu selection was excellent, offering something for every taste and dietary preference. The quality of the food matched the splendor of the setting - everything was beautifully prepared and delicious. What made our experience truly special was the atmosphere. Despite being located in a busy train station, the restaurant feels like a peaceful retreat where you can relax and enjoy your meal. My family loved every moment - from the stunning surroundings to the attentive service and wonderful food.

Joseph A wonderful little café situated in the quiet but spacious Childs Hill Park. They serve authentic and homemade food, fresh and soft bread, and various drinks and ice creams. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and quick. There is a little indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating on all sides of the restaurant, all bathed in sun and a little bit of shade. A lovely little spot to grab a small bite, and enjoy a coffee in a park.
