3 /5 Danny Passey: Was nice, but since Fat Boy sold it, prices have increased, food quality reduced, and service is always dependent on the individual teenagers mood that day. Great decor and location, but looking a bit tatty these days, particularly the toilets.

5 /5 Nathan Hobden: This fantastic cafe with history is in new safe hands. I’ve met the new owners on a number of occasions. Super friendly and welcoming. It’ll always be my go to spot! ☕️

5 /5 Steve and Annie Singleton: Drove up from Southampton. Had a super crispy chicken Burger and cheesy chips. Some nice bits of Fat boy Slims on the walls. Staff friendly and service was good. Would pop in again.. lovely walk along the promenade..

1 /5 K C358: The name is different and should be changed on Google. I would be wary of coming here if youre prone to being overstimulated! It was so noisy, with multiple people moving tables and chairs around inside to suit their party needs, everything is so cramped, with the line to order ending up by the front entrance and I was almost throat punched by a woman trying to get by with a tray. There was lots of kids shouting and jumping on seats and it made the atmosphere really unpleasant if youre just trying to enjoy a coffee or eating. Again, everything is so cramped and I was pushed by kids trying to get to the ice cream freezer or the drinks fridges, would be better if those things were better situated or if there was more room for the line to order. The staff were pleasant enough but the bap was incredibly oily, with lots dripping out and making it unpleasant to eat. The pictures online looked much nicer and more organised so we were pretty disappointed when we got there and felt more like we were in a soft play area than a cafe by the sea....was also pretty expensive £15 for two breakfast baps. Tables were also dirty and no one was really staying on top of cleaning things up.
