The Poet at Matfield -

Desye S Thank you to The Poet for making my 40th birthday an unforgettable experience. We came to have dinner on saturday and only had positive things to say about our evening. Amazing service. As someone with seafood allergies, I felt that the matter was taken really seriously and every dish was presented and explained to me. The staff was meticulous and attentive. The fact that restaurant called me to make sure to know everything about my allergy was already a green flag in my book and a good start. The ambiance was really nice, cosy, and class. We enjoyed every little details. The food was succulent, the portions were good and every dish were packed with flavours. Everything single one of us at the table left satisfied. Compliments to the chefs. Overall I had a really good birthday and will definitely come back.

Greg Rohrlach Its great to see authentic Asian cuisine just like I experienced in and Australia. Staff with fantastic and very down to earth which I love Atmosphere had a vibe of Asian food hall meats restaurant without any pretentiousness My choice of food was given a good explanation before I ordered it so I knew what to expect. It met my expectations perfectly, and came out quicker than I thought as well. Ive had takeaway from here before and its just as good and efficient

Binodh C.B. We love coming to the Poacher and Partridge, sat beside the live fire sipping wine and a sumptuous meal. Food is brilliant especially the puddings. Tanya who served was extremely courteous friendly and helpful. Will be back soon.

Akira Wanke-traveler. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been too. Delicious food. Not to oily and not bad at all. Lots of different things. It was quite empty when I went there so it was quite relaxed. Not to big so I will recommend reserving tables at busy times. For Indian desserts there is only Kulfi, and then some other none-Indian things, bit disappointing but alright. Will recommend definitely.

Gareth Griffith Fantastic from start to finish. From the welcome at the door to the standard of service, the whole experience was wonderful. The food was phenomenal - every course seemed to pack in more and more flavour - I would be very surprised if they don’t have a Michelin star soon. Would highly recommend.
