Al Baladi - (Near Camden, South East)

Jezza I stumbled upon Peony Star by chance, and I was blown away by both the quality of the food and the exceptional service. The staff were an absolute delight, and the food was nothing short of outstanding. Although I was not sure what to expect at first, just a few bites were enough to win me over completely. Even something as simple as the egg fried rice was exquisite. I started with the dim sum assortment, which was beautifully made and full of flavour. Our lovely server kindly explained each piece to us, making the experience even more enjoyable. For mains, we ordered: Cantonese roasted duck Yeung Chow fried rice Honey roast pork Sichuan chilli crispy king prawn Egg fried rice with spring onion Not a single dish disappointed; they were all perfectly curated and bursting with flavour. My personal favourites were the dumplings and the honey roast pork, both of which stood out for their depth of taste and flawless execution. Between the warm and attentive service, the elegant décor, and the phenomenal food, Peony Star truly stands out. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu and enjoy another memorable dining experience. A must-visit! Quite possibly one of the finest Cantonese restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Compliments to the chefs!!!

Arthemis F Always amazing people serving. So kind and considerate and no matter how busy , will always get the order correct and fully packed. The food is the most flavourful and the meat and vegetables are always fresh. I come here every week and have been for years. Everyone ate from here on their lunch breaks and I recommend it to everyone I come across

Maigen Berg This is the best cafe I have found in Central London. Food is incredible, the Shakshuka is my favorite breakfast. The Tuna with Peaches in Ponzu and the Nduja Prawns are my favorite lunch or dinner options. I crave their foods now and learned they worked with a Michelin chef to make their menu. The service is unmatched here. Kindest people. The atmosphere is perfect. Quiet, calm, and they have WiFi! Am a pro photographer, meet clients here regularly and couldn’t help but take pics. Highly recommend.

Alec Egan Amazing food! The garlic source is to die for. Crispy chips with herbs like thyme and something else are exceptional! Without a doubt, you should come and enjoy the Lebanese hospitality. Kofta was fresh and very well prepared. If you have been to this place like me - you WILL be coming back for yammy-yammi-in-my-tummy grub!! Shukran, habibi!

Cerdyn Shadowsong Gem of a find on our journey from London back to Wales. Friendly and helpful staff, large menu, well cooked food and HUGE portions all at a very reasonable price. Fresh orange juice - fab.
