4 /5 W Lina: I visited Cecconi’s Sunday Feast and was extremely excited, especially since you have to book well in advance to secure a table.
The setting is beautiful, and the atmosphere was wonderful. A live singer was also present, which added a really special ambience to the experience.
We decided to go for the free-flowing champagne option, and our glasses were truly never empty. Ronaldo looked after us in the best possible way, he is an absolute gem and a real asset to Cecconi’s. I sincerely hope the restaurant knows what an enrichment he is.
The buffet was presented in the most beautiful way, with everything you could possibly ask for: delicious meats, fresh salads, lobster, seafood, charcuterie, you name it. Quality-wise, it is very hard to complain about anything. The food was always topped up and looked incredibly tasty and appealing throughout.
That being said, the two-hour time limit feels quite short for the price. You are paying a lot for the variety and abundance of food, but there is only so much you can enjoy within that timeframe. It makes the experience feel slightly rushed, as you want to make the most of what is offered. Extending it to three hours would make it much more relaxed and enjoyable.
I was a little disappointed by the cheese selection. Additionally, since I am not a huge fan of sweet desserts, that part was less exciting for me, though that is purely personal preference and honestly complaining on a very high level.
Overall, my highlights were the beautifully presented and delicious food, Ronaldo’s extremely attentive service, and the wonderful atmosphere.
