Restaurant Interlude -
Paul Fisher We visited this venue about five years ago and it remains amongst my all time favourites after 134 michelin stars.
We visited today and perfection has been enhanced!
Staff were so welcoming and attentive. Almost every aspect has been tweaked to even a higher standard. Each course again stunning presentation AND flavours.
Such a story told through tge cards they give you with each course plus the verbal explanation by the chefs.
Its hard to identify a favourite, as all were superb. I guess the duck course and the final chocolate dessert are a tiny bit ahead of the others.
My only grouch was the missing (this time) the incredible biltong carrot, but superb replacements.
A venue that is so focussed upon most ingredients coming from their own estate.
Toilets beautiful too.
I was sad it didnt get the second star it richly deserves
