5 /5 Sarasjuntorn Angkinun: My husband and I can confidently say that etch. is the best fine dining restaurant we’ve experienced in Brighton so far. We booked the tasting menu with wine pairing, and every course was exceptional. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, while the service was warm, attentive, and truly professional. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish - highly recommend!

5 /5 Sarah Jones: A Thursday evening with my Ma... the food was delish; highlights for me were the Billington mushroom tart, the Buddle Farm Cauliflower Soup and the Granny Smith Apple dessert. I have shared all the food pics in order of menu. We didnt have the supplement dishes as really wasnt necessary. Good value spot. Two comments - sadly was not warned that the Roscoff onion fritter was super hot, and the knife for the Lamb dish was too cumbersome (and heavy), for such a delicate cut. Staff were friendly and attentive, without being fussy...ambience was perfect, in fact I was pleasantly surprised how busy the place was.

4 /5 Adila Rose: We came over valentines weekend and had the tasting menu. There were a lot of courses! Food is high quality and presented beautifully. They also catered for my dietary requirements (pregnant) and acknowledged my partners birthday which was nice. Service got a little slow towards the end of the meal when we were ready to leave.

5 /5 Sally Card: Having been to Etch before this time we decided on a guest chef evening. We had been to Glynn’s restaurant in Birmingham so it was the perfect pairing. Superb evening began with cocktails in the downstairs cocktail lounge before being escorted to our table. Chefs introduced each course and it was nice to hear both Stephen and Glynn talking about their dishes. High quality ingredients, superb presentation all led to the most exquisite meal. Each dish beautifully styled, tasting divine, perfectly balanced. We didn’t do the wine flight just a couple of glasses of our favourite Nyetimber English Sparkling. Was such a nice evening and both chefs came out throughout the evening to chat to tables and to say goodbye at the end.

5 /5 Shiwanthi Kahandaliyanage: Absolutely incredible experience at etch. The food was unreal, each bite was so well thought through and presented beautifully. The service was impeccable and the ambiance lovely. One of the best meal’s I’ve had in a long time!
