5 /5 Charlotte Ferguson: My husband and I have just had our wedding reception here and were overwhelmed with how brilliant Kevin and his team were. Nothing was too much trouble - even down to Kevin making sure we were all sorted for a lift home at the end of the night. The food was all beautifully presented and tasted incredible. We had so many compliments from our guests about how lovely the food was and how much they liked Jaxon’s as a choice of venue. We would not hesitate to rebook future functions with Jaxon’s (and will definitely be back to try their Sunday dinner!) We cannot thank Kevin and his team for going the extra mile for us, we are truly grateful X

1 /5 Mark Smith: Held my dad’s wake there, lovely setting and venue, but shame about that attitude of a lot of the staff. Massively overpriced, we paid for food to feed sixty people which was just shy of £1200 and would say we got half of that and also drinks expensive, so based on that would not recommend.

5 /5 Jake Hansen: Visited with friends for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. I had the tomato salad which was lovely and fresh tasting for main I had chicken with sweetcorn veloute was very tasty and my spouses lamb roast was cooked to perfection. My friend, who is a pescatarian was well catered for as they had substitutes ready. The staff are very friendly and attentive too, so all in all it was a very pleasant experience. Cant wait for my next visit

1 /5 James Leydon: Reading the reviews I had no hesitation in booking our golf society in for breakfast before our round. Things must have drastically changed since the last review as our breakfast was the worst weve ever had and we play every week. The food was barely warm and accompanied by chips covered in pepper. The chef must have changed because this was desperate

5 /5 Mark K: Some of the reviews were a bit divisive but gut feeling said to have a look. My wife and I really loved our meals. The Brie and Chutney starter was absolutely delicious!! My wife had the prawns and loved them, everything tasted fresh. Roast main was delicious, everything made sense, presentation great, offered choice between horseradish, mint sauce and mustard which was nice touch (I picked horseradish). I had lamb which gravy was sweet and complemented well, wife picked beef. Kevin, the owner, was hospital and was the staff who were really friendly. Despite my son running around, they were not touchy or displayed any signs of being annoyed. Highly recommend this place, hidden gem.
