1 /5 Tanveer Malik: I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience at Khan’s Restaurant in Southampton was extremely disappointing.
The food arrived with a strong unpleasant smell, and the taste was completely bland. There was no freshness, no flavour, and certainly nothing close to what you would expect from a proper meal. When we politely informed the staff that the meat smelled off, the chef simply denied it and insisted there was nothing wrong. As genuine food lovers who regularly dine out, we know the difference between well-prepared food and something that is clearly not right.
To make matters worse, the cashier was rude and unprofessional. Despite the poor food quality and overall bad experience, he still tried to add a service charge to the bill. Charging extra for such poor service felt unreasonable and disrespectful.
Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Definitely not recommended.
