5 /5 Frances Penelope Recto: The service and atmosphere were top notch - the ambience was good, our food was served fast and the servers were so attentive and proactive and most importantly, we kept getting surprise free snacks throughout our courses, like the pani puri and the chocolate at the end. The chef made it feel like a tasting menu. Money well spent!

5 /5 Diya Shandilya: Tucked away in a quaint little alley on Guildford high street, this restaurant takes your tastebuds on a trip to South India and back! I didn’t know what to expect when I first went but I find myself going back here at every chance I can get for, well, anything on the entire menu, not one item can be labelled as ‘not that good’, truly. Moreover, the staff are calm, they deal with the crowd in the restaurant every night, food is served in adequate time and I would highly recommended Raviz to anyone who thinks they know Indian food,because you don’t know it until you’ve been to Raviz!

Delicious, authentic Keralan/South Indian food… We shared the chicken three ways and fish peera for starters, and the lamb mappas and alleppy prawns for mains and the trio of ice-cream for dessert and everything was really delicious… Fresh, authentic flavours. Service was exceptional and they gave us extra little things to try for free. The only thing to improve is the rather dark interior of the restaurant which is the opposite of what my memories of India are… It would be much more appealing if it was more colourful like I remember Kerala being! Highly recommend though. Also, it is good for gluten free as many items are gluten free.

5 /5 Ati & Omar Dalgaard: We’ve eaten at Raviz a few times and have always loved the food, but we recently tried their takeaway for the first time and honestly… wow. It was my husband’s birthday and he didn’t feel like going out, so we ordered in. It turned out to be the best Indian takeaway we’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. Every dish was full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. Nothing felt rushed or generic. It tasted like proper restaurant quality food at home. Even the children absolutely loved it, which never happens with Indian food in our house. They were completely all over it. Huge credit to the chef. The food genuinely blew us away, and we could not fault a single dish. I’m so glad Raviz is doing takeaway now, and I don’t think enough people know about it yet. If you’re in Guildford and considering an Indian takeaway, stop looking. I honestly cannot recommend Raviz highly enough.
