Sushi Zento Muswell Hill - (Near , South East)

2 /5 Sophie: The restaurant itself is really pretty, lovely decor, but sadly the food didn’t live up to the setting. We ordered the eel (unagi) bento and the seafood tempura bento, and both were surprisingly completely tasteless. Overall, lovely atmosphere but very underwhelming food.

4 /5 G Song: Went there on Valentines day. Food is delicious but kitchen was very slow. We probably waited for hour before we got the food. Its worth the wait but I would have preferred a quicker service. No acknowledgement from the waiter the kitchen was slow either.

5 /5 Cameron James: Went on Valentines day as a spur of the moment decision after spending the day at Alexandra Palace. Service was excellent. We arrived at 16:45, but they managed to slot us in before the bookings kicked off at 18:00. They didnt make us feel awkward or rushed while we were eating, and gave us plenty of time to choose what we wanted beforehand. Furthermore, it being Valentines day and seeing we were a couple, they replaced our napkins with ones with hearts on, and then gave us a tiny themed box of chocolates after the meal. Couldnt have asked for more. The food was exceptional. The mixed tempura bento I ordered was piping hot, with fresh ingredients and a very generous portion. My partners Katsu bento was one of the best chicken katsu cutlets I have tasted. Prepared with care, it was tender, juicy, and with a pencil line thin layer of batter that didnt overpower the natural flavour of the chicken. Would absolutely recommend.

4 /5 Kevin Kay: Very nice local Sushi restaurant. Visited on a Sunday lunchtime so parking was easier than it would be usually. Service is quick and friendly, the menu is extensive and the dishes arrive nicely presented with excellent, authentic flavours. Only docking a star due to the fact that some of our sushi was a little warm, as if it had been left in the serving window under the lamps, which should not be happening. Aside from this, recommended. Second visit was also excellent, this time, unfortunately, they did not have cream cheese for the asparagus and cream cheese California rolls but instead of telling us this, attempted to substitute it with mayonnaise, which didn’t really work. Would still recommend
