H Hunt We had a table of 7 and were immediately accommodated despite the pub and restaurant being very busy. The manager who served us, Samuel was funny, polite and incredibly welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The two ladies behind the bar who I noted their names Olivia and Louisa were so nice to my children and made them laugh and smile throughout the many interactions at the bar. The food was fantastic, cooked perfectly with ample sides. Our chef was the kitchen manager Christopher so I’m told. Christopher, thank you!! I personally tried a new signature burger which was huge, and amazing value for money. My partner’s allergy was catered for with expert knowledge and it was a marked change from feeling like a burden having to explain what a gluten intolerance meant in many other establishments. The food arrived quickly too, so we could all eat together despite ordering apart

Holy Cow - Fine Indian Dining - Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in Limehouse - Canary Wharf -

Lovely Monney A little food story — my first time at Holy Cow! I had just arrived from Paris to London and was looking for something comforting to eat. I love Indian food, so I searched for a spot nearby. Bingo — Holy Cow! was only 5 minutes from home. Perfect! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I had been a little disappointed so far with restaurants in London, and as a French person, I admit I can be picky with food. I decided to go for a safe choice: butter chicken. A very kind lady welcomed me, the place was calm and cozy, and the prices were really affordable (especially compared to what I’d seen in London). While waiting, they brought me some Indian-style crisps with three sauces — mint, mango, and onion-tomato. The mango sauce exploded with flavor in my mouth, and at that moment, my excitement began to grow. About 20 minutes later, a wonderful plate was placed in front of me. The aroma alone made me smile. I tore a piece of garlic naan, dipped it in the sauce, and… wow. Amazing. I wanted to cry, the flavors and spices were so rich and perfectly balanced. I even paused the YouTube video I was watching, just to focus and fully appreciate what I was experiencing. It was in that moment I realized: this is actually my new favorite restaurant in London.

Chandrika Cycil We love this South Indian restaurant. We have been waiting for so long to have a local South Indian restaurant and Rathiga does not disappoint. They have a large menu and we have over time and many visits figured out the best dishes and order the ones we enjoy. We have really enjoyed their choice of vegetarian dishes for which there is a lot of variety. We also have tried many meat dishes too although they are a bit more on the spicy side for the rest of my family and children to eat. The staff have always obliged to make things less spicy and also suggest options. We have tried their South Indian and North Indian thalis, poori masala, chicken lollipop, gobi Manchurian, lemon rice, aubergine curry and vadais. We have done takeaway and catering orders and the staff have always been extremely obliging. We also love their weekend breakfast buffet which has a great variety and is very well priced. The staff are lovely, it’s an extremely family friendly restaurant and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and attend to your preferences and needs.

sid welland unfortunately the food was extremely oily and left me and my family feeling sick, prawn balls were very doughy and chewy, but unfortunately the worst part for us was having to throw away a whole portion of vegetable chow mein because it STANK of pee. it wasnt just a little bit, it was the only thing you could smell, and also tasted like the smell. we did call and the staff were happy to help sort it out. im not hard to please with food but this was disappointing , also there was no vegetarian markers on the menu so we had to just guess.
