The Longwall Beefeater - (Near Oxfordshire, South East)

5 /5 Hannah: We had a late visit to the Beefeater and unfortunately we arrived after last orders. However Jaya was lovely. I asked if it was possible to grab a drink to bring back to our room. Jaya more than happy to help us and provided service in a friendly manner going above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Jaya we appreciated you ☺️.

2 /5 misha molko: Went here for Christmas, however the experience wasnt good. The place was understaffed and poorly organised as myself and many groups of people were waiting for over half an hour to be seated, let alone be served. However, The food was nice (wouldve liked some onion rings with my steak as promised but it was still lovely). I do sympathise with the staff as they had too much to deal with and I was grateful to be served by friendly workers even if it was a long wait. Just hope it is planned better next time.

3 /5 Павел Богданов: Ordered rump steak and a pint of estrella. Paid close to 24£. Third of a steak was joints, terrible. Felt like a jaw gym than the dinner it supposed to be. Didnt enjoy the experience at all.

1 /5 Michael Snook: Dreadful tonight, stopped here for tea as I was staying in the premier inn opposite but will not go here again. Really rough, loud and obnoxious people in tonight, don’t bring kids here if you don’t want to hear swearing. In terms of the food, waited for over an hour despite it not being busy to have the main’s brought out before the starter and both courses were wrong and items missing. After waiting for so long, food cold, overcooked and dry. £17.29 for this plate of misery. In terms of service, there was none, got my own cutlery and condiments. No one checked in on how the food was and starter plate was cleared by someone who obviously didn’t want to be there or provide any customer service. I’ll eat elsewhere in future. Would have received better service and tastier food from a burger van.

1 /5 Esther H: Very unpleasant experience overall. One of the servers was extremely arrogant and rude from the start. When ordering a sea bass fillet, she oddly asked how we wanted it cooked, then responded in an annoyed tone when she realised we weren’t ordering beef. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was barely warm. When clearing plates, the same server slammed a plate down at the next table, making a loud noise. When I asked to pay by card, she didn’t say a word and just pointed at the till. As first-time visitors, we didn’t know their “norms,” but no effort was made to explain or help. Thankfully, another server, a very pleasant lady stepped in and helped us pay. However, on our way out, we ran into the first server again, who checked to make sure we had paid, which felt unnecessary and insulting. First visit and definitely the last.
