1 /5 Colin Bevan: We eat there a lot. I often wonder why. It is certainly very pricey for what you get. I would recommend avoiding the hot food. Had a toasted tuna sandwich today. There was more raw red onion in it than tuna and the crusts were so hard that it was impossible to cut through , nor chew without needing a followup dentists visit. And dont get me started on the chips. Every time we have chips there (must be a glutton for punishment) they must be double/triple cooked and reheated as they are like hard leather. The scones should be a good option, but they can be so variable. Once again, not firm with soft inside like a good scone, but more like the kitchen staff seem to have walked off and forgotten they were in the oven, such that they can be a challenge on your gums & teeth. They benefit from their location. If there was good competition close by then Im sure people would go elsewhere to eat.

5 /5 Zeon Scar: I came here with my family for sunday lunch, as a coeliac Im very careful with what i eat while out but the service counters in their restaurant were very good. The staf member Paul was very prompt with the alergen folder and went through the options, while Amy who prepared my meal was very careful and professional. The food was filling and good value for money. 5/5 would come back again.

1 /5 Tatsa Casey (Casey): I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Haskins Cafe. During our visit, my father was subjected to racial profiling by staff. He was treated with suspicion and singled out in a way that was both humiliating and unacceptable. No one should ever feel unwelcome or judged based on their race, yet this is exactly how we were made to feel here. This experience has left us shocked and upset, and it completely ruined what should have been a simple visit to a café. I urge them to address this behaviour, implement proper anti-discrimination training, and ensure that all customers are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. Until changes are made, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
