Zizzi - Romford - (Near Havering, South East)

1 /5 Dana Howell: Guys I’m extremely angry right now! I went into the Tottenham Court Road Zizzi yesterday and had such an amazing time that I felt like ordering a spaghetti bolognaise from the Romford branch tonight as a late night comfort snack. I ordered two. I even called the restaurant to ask that the Parmesan be sprinkled and for some olive oil on the side. I should have know this would end up badly because the person I spoke to wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence. Sounds like they were rushing to leave! The pasta arrived and it is like mash potatoes. So mushy and overcooked. Stick together etc. I can’t even call to complain because the phone just rings and rings. I’m so annoyed. Literally spent £33 on this. Seems like the Romford branch needs to fix up because it’s reflecting very badly on the franchise. I won’t be ordering again and I want my money back tbh because i essentially just paid for rubbish and to be vexed before bed. I’m honestly not eating this! I’ll be going into Zizzi Romford tomorrow and asking for my money back. I’ll be seeing you guys tomorrow as soon as you open. The absolute cheek!

1 /5 Daniela Cordos: I’ve ordered from this restaurant several times and have generally been satisfied. However, the past two orders have been very disappointing. Yesterday, the pasta was extremely overcooked, and the sauce was barely mixed in. I let it slide, thinking it might have been a one-time issue. But today, the pasta was not only mushy, but it also wasn’t mixed with the sauce at all, as you can see in the photos. It’s honestly unbelievable considering how good the food used to be. I hope they can restore the quality soon.

5 /5 Nathan Hobbs: Food was all really nice. I had the pollo fritti for my starter, Pinoli pizza for my main and tiramusu for my pudding. Very good service by the friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

5 /5 Khadeeja: Had a really lovely time at Zizzi with my friends. David was our waiter and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the start. He took his time to make sure we had everything we needed and as we had dietary restrictions, he went above and beyond to ensure the food met our requirements. We were also treated to complimentary starters and decadent hot chocolate shots, which was such a nice touch. The vibe was ambient and relaxed. I would definitely recommend and would happily come back.

4 /5 Bridget Frimpong: I went to Zizzi at the Brewery Centre and had a really nice experience. I ordered the spicy king prawns, a small salad, and an apple juice. The food was tasty and filling, especially the prawns which had a good level of spice. After calculating my spending, including the service charge, my total amount came to £18.35. This made me more aware of how extra costs like service charge affect my budget. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal and a good learning experience for managing money.
